Engineering and Project Management Support of a Liquid Air Battery NPD

Problem:

The client was developing a liquid air battery for use in the industrial air market and required additional engineering and project management capability and capacity.

Solution:

C2 Technology provided 1.5 man-years of engineering and project management support allowing the company to develop their proof of concept liquid air battery.

Engineering support consisted of front-end engineering design and analysis of the cryogenic coolth store providing calculation tools for the analysis of different arrangements and CAD discussions with manufacturing sub-contractors.

The project management support allowed them to maintain project schedule, track and trace project issues and risks and provide an interface to the funding body.

Results/Benefits:

The engineering support provided by us helped the client design and build their proof of concept prototype which subsequently led to them securing significant funding from the investors.
